Marble Slab Creamery Marble Mail
Dear Diary,
Do you like ice cream? I sure do though I can't have any right now cause I'm giving up sweet treats and chocolate for 40 days. So I'll have to wait. Anyhow a new ice cream parlour opened up in my neck of the woods not too long ago, called Marble Slab Creamery I've heard their ice cream is to die for although honestly I haven't been there yet. It is on my "Bucket List", once my 40 days have passed. Anyhow on Twitter I came across this Tweet from MSC Marble Slab Creamery and you can sign up for their Marble Mail. I imagine they'll have special offers and maybe even coupons for their newsletter members. So if you're a fan of this place and even if you're not yet a fan, you might want to check it out. I did!

Free Movie, Scene Card & Twitter wins
Dear Diary,
I went to the movies the other night and let me tell you that doesn't happen very often around here. Going to the movies just isn't a frugal thing unless you get to go for free. Well that's exactly what happened. You see we have this scene card and it's a good thing to have if you like to go to movies. We've seen a few movies for free because of having this card. Well this week Scene members could go and see The Hangover for free which we did and they also gave us free popcorn. With the card you accumulate points when you go to movies so you can eventually see a movie for free and you also get a discount on concession purchases. So why not check it out? If you really like to go to the movies, this is the card to have!

This week I won a couple of prizes through Twitter ; a Benefit Crescent Row Eau de Toilette from @slicedotca & a Liberte prize from @naturallysavvy
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine myself twittering & tweeting but here I am doing just that. Twitter is pretty amazing and offers a wealth of knowledge on pretty much anything and that's where it's at.

Free Join the Dolphin Club
Dear Diary,
Just came back from getting my hair cut & highlighted. I know, I know that wasn't the most frugal thing to do but like I said I'm Almost Always Frugal and this is one area where I sometimes miss the boat. But I did walk there & back instead of taking the bus so frugal does come into the equation. So I ended up with some Free exercise and picked up a coin/bottle or two along the way.
Anyway, I'm here to tell you about the Dolphin Club . If you sign up for their club you can get a free Dolphin Bath Glove & more??? Not sure what I'm going to do with a Dolphin Bath Glove but I'm sure someone in the family will appreciate it.

You know I love trying products for free. And that's cuz if I don't like it at least I didn't lose any money on it. And if I do like, I'll purchase it in the future. Well today I want to tell you about a free offer for a Biore Nose Strip. It's supposed to deep clean your pores. So why not try it, you might even like it. But if you want to try it for free, there are only 10,000 available. That might seem like a lot but really it's not, not when it's offered on the Internet.

Twittering & Twitter win
Dear Diary,
Don't know if I told you this, but I've gotten into twittering and following tweets. And believe it or not there are contests you can enter on Twitter so of course this is something I just had to do. At first I wasn't even sure I was twittering correctly and sometimes I'm still not sure if I'm doing it right. Who knows where my tweets are going and who on earth I'm twittering. Well I haven't gotten arrested yet so that's a good thing. And I must be doing something right some of the time, cause yesterday I received my first Twitter win in the mail. It was a Frommer's Travel Guide to Vancouver & Whistler just in time for the winter Olympics. Too bad I'm unable to attend and make use of this guide. Maybe next time. But I do know someone who's going. Gonna loan it to him and just maybe he might by chance get to meet some Olympic athletes who could autograph my book. Ya never know.
